Arlene’s Gallery has been providing loyal customers with unique gifts and native american jewelry since 1978. While they have kept updating gifts to satisfy 3 generations of consumers, their website hadn’t gotten much attention over the years. They came to us to revamp the design and provide the content consumers were looking for.
What makes Arlene’s Gallery so special is also what makes keeping up a website hard, the constant introduction of new products.
We created a What’s New blog page that pulls to various pages throughout the design.
This blog feed allows the viewer to stay updated on new products.
It was important that adding new content was easy. The client can add new products with a simple “add new” and upload of an image. The ease of use is what really makes this feature a client favorite!
We knew that with three locations, Arlene’s users would be looking for the locations. We provided a map and addresses in the footer so that if a client were on mobile made it to another page, they could find their way.
Sticky navigation. If you are ever frustrated when you have to scroll to the top of the page to get back to the navigation, you will appreciate a sticky navigation. The navigation transitions to a simple view and stays with you when you scroll. This way you will always be able to quickly jump to another page.
