We used to do website marketing the traditional way, so we know why it simply doesn't deliver results.

We used to do it the old fashioned way, too. We would ask the client what they wanted, what they wanted to say, how many pages they needed, what the pages would be called, and then send them on their way to write the copy and collect the images. Sometimes it was years before they came back with their content; we’re not kidding!

We had been making websites and marketing them for decades. We have attended certifications and marketing conferences and studied effective UX/UI. We knew what businesses needed—why were we asking them to create the strategy and write the content?!

That’s when we collectively created what is now called MarketingHub. We baked everything into the process to develop a framework that we knew local businesses would need to succeed in online marketing. We then streamlined the process to make it faster without skimping on design and branding.

Branding

We start where you are by collecting the visual assets (logo, and color/graphics if you have them) that have been created in your organization, and asking you questions about how you want to be perceived, including what you might like to see differently with your brand. Our expert designers then create a Brand Board that communicates your unique perspective. We guide you through the Brand Board and the various options to choose from. By the end of the guided branding session, you will have a complete brand board and a library of branding elements to use in your other marketing efforts!

On-site SEO

As a digital marketing agency, we couldn’t figure out why most agencies were launching websites without the necessary tools to perform well on search engines. Instead of offering SEO as an expensive add-on, we baked this important strategy into our process. H1s, keywords, alt tags, meta-descriptions, page titles—we have you covered! And as always, we stay on top of the industry trends and new technologies so we can implement new strategies as they are tested and proven.

Copywriting

You are not a copywriting expert, so why do other agencies expect you to write your own marketing copy? We use a team of copywriting experts who are trained in leading website marketing copy strategies. There are three goals when it comes to copywriting:

  1. Your copy should be written in an established voice that is consistent with your brand identity.
  2. Your copy should be written for and speak directly to your target audience.
  3. Marketing copy should grab the attention of the audience and be interesting and clear to understand.

Photography

No, we are not sending a guy with an iPhone to collect some images for your website. All our experts are indeed experts. We have professional photographers who speak to you about your company and curate a shot list for your place of business. During your scheduled photography session, they set up lighting and walk your “models” through various shots for the website. Photography is a significant part of telling the authentic story of your company and building trust through these ‘real life’ images. We also offer alternative photo solutions that tell the story of your brand if on-site photography is not an option for your business.

Email Magnet

We know the power of collecting a database of customers you can market to. Sometimes your site may attract potential clients, but they are not ready to buy just yet. Instead of letting them go with the likelihood they will forget you, give them some value in return for keeping the conversation going. We’ve streamlined our process to reduce the timeline required to build your new website, but we still include a few collaborative sessions in our process to ensure that your website truly speaks for your business. Following your Brand Board session, you’ll have a chance to meet up with your project coordinator to walk through the copywriting strategy for your website, so our writers get to know your business inside and out. Then, we can tell your story through the visual elements of your website, as well as the words on the page.
