  1. I think you have hit the nail on the head by talking about uniqueness. Every company is unique, but they are not all aware of what separates them from their competitors, and do not always communicate that effectively to the current and potential customers.

    I think it is extremely important for any marketing company understand what makes their client unique, and possibly even help them realize what those elements are themselves. Once that happens, it is so much easier to communicate that digitally in a website or overall digital presence.

    I don’t see this as a static process, but an ever evolving revelation of who a company is to the people that like and trust that company. IBM is calling companies that embrace this process “Social Companies” and as SEO, and the rules to being visible online change, companies that embrace connecting with their customers will stand out, be unique, and win the race of visibility, and ultimately profit from their market position.
