Christi is a graphic designer whose responsibilities include making design changes to websites according to client specifications and building sites using HTML and CSS. Christi is also a junior at the University of Arizona where she is studying Visual Communications. “I got into the program last year, which I consider a great accomplishment,” states Christi, “because the school only selects about 20 people each year to participate.” Though she had a choice of studying graphic design or illustration, Christi decided to study both. In addition, she also has a minor in Japanese language, which she speaks fluently. As for the near future, Christi says she’s a bit undecided as to what she’ll pursue fulltime. “I like web design but I’d also like to be an illustrator or maybe teach English in Japan. I want to be well rounded,” she concludes, “and not have to commit to only one thing.” - Web Designer Tucson
